Alima Zehra’s story is inspirational enough to ignite the potential within everyone of us. Alima Zehra comes from a conservative family and had to break many barriers to rise up. But this didn’t deter her to become a successful Psychologist in Chennai. Getting married at early age she didn’t give up her studies. 1. Mrs. Alima Zehra, HOD, Department of Psychology, was a Guest Speaker for an “Educational Guidance Programme” exclusively for the students of standard 10, 11 and 12 conducted by “Mohsinoon Charitable Trust” held on 11-02-2018.
2. Mrs. Alima Zehra and Mrs. Lavanya. R, Faculty, Department of Psychology presented a paper in an International Conference on “Contemporary Technologies: Prospects and Challenges for Psychological Well- Being” at Anugraha Institute of Social Sciences on 06-01-18.
3. Mrs. Alima Zehra, HOD, Department of Psychology was a Guest Speaker for a session on “Career Guidance”, conducted for NSS students of St. Mary’s Girls Hr. Sec school.
4.Mrs. Alima Zehra, HOD, Department of Psychology was a Guest Speaker for a Community Based Programme on the topic “Problems faced by Adolescents” were she addressed 100 Adolescents of the age group between 12- 20 years.
5.Mrs. Alima Zehra, HOD, Department of Psychology attended a Women Empowerment Seminar on the topic “A Motivational step to build Self- Confidence and Entrepreneurship in Women” by “Rehana Banu Ameer” (Elected Councillor of Corporation, UK) and “Dr. Fathima Muzaffer” (Renowned Speaker and Socialist).
