From Chennai Slum to World Cup Football, sounds like a bridge between poverty and success. Sangeetha dwells in the slum near Wall Tax Road in Egmore. Her family lives in the street due to which they face a lot of issue with regard to claim their identity as the citizen of India. The issue continues in the form of poverty. She had a lot of excuses to at least set a goal to be achieved in life but she never gave up on her journey towards success after engaging with the faculty member of a Ngo Karunalaya. The organization helped her to understand the importance of Education post which she can feed her family thrice a day. She took their words as the challenging point to begin her Successful journey and found her interest in Football. The annual football tournament involves teams comprising underprivileged people from 64 countries. Sangeetha is among 20 others selected by Slum Soccer, an organization using football to empower the underprivileged, to represent Team India.
